Oceanmata hat bis Juli 2026 über 322.009 kg Plastik aus dem Ozean gesammelt — geborgen von unserem eigenen Clean-up-Team auf Bali. Für jedes verkaufte Produkt entfernen wir 1 Kilogramm Ozeanplastik aus Meer und Küstenregionen.
Der Herstellungs-Fußabdruck einer Oceanmata-Hülle beträgt rund 0,24 kg CO₂e (cradle-to-customer). Das pro Hülle geborgene Kilogramm Ozeanplastik vermeidet rechnerisch etwa 2,7 kg CO₂e — netto ist jede Hülle damit rechnerisch klimapositiv (ca. -2,5 kg CO₂e). Diese Bilanz entsteht durch echte Plastik-Bergung, nicht durch zugekaufte CO₂-Zertifikate.

About Oceanmata
Sustainable Phone Cases by Oceanmata
Oceanmata is now known for its sustainable phone cases, but we'd like to tell you briefly how it all began. The foundation for Oceanmata was laid in 2019 during a trip through Sri Lanka, when we witnessed marine pollution firsthand.
Biodegradable and Eco-Friendly
What makes our sustainable phone cases so special? All our cases are made from a bio-plastic that is biodegradable and therefore doesn't further pollute the ocean.

Our sustainable phone cases are very robust and not only protect your smartphone from drops, scratches and other hazards - their biodegradability also helps protect the ocean.
But why Bali of all places?
After the idea for our own clean-up project was born in Sri Lanka, the question of location arose, as the problem with waste unfortunately exists worldwide. Bali was our first choice because the pollution there is particularly severe.
