While we clean up on land, Ecosystem Bumi ensures that new life can emerge beneath the water's surface. In Indonesia, they step in where ecosystems have already collapsed and systematically rebuild them.
The core projects on site:
- Reef reconstruction: Through the targeted planting of corals, destroyed reefs are actively repopulated.
- Scientific monitoring: Underwater data analyses help to precisely monitor the progress of the rebuilding and secure it in the long term.
- Local responsibility: Community programs involve the local people so that the protection of the seas becomes part of their own future.
A portion of the proceeds from every Ocean Case flows directly into this marine infrastructure. We invest in the regeneration of the seas so that they can once again fulfill their function as a basis of life.
