Ocean protection knows no competition – together we can achieve more

When it comes to protecting our oceans, we are all pulling together.
Because change does not happen alone – but through many who act together.

More and more projects and companies are committed to preserving our oceans. They use a variety of approaches, but all with the same goal: reducing plastic in rivers, oceans, and beaches. We've been supporting some of these initiatives for years, and we're in close contact with others—or we simply support them because we admire their work.

In this article, we'd like to introduce you to some of these projects. Because ocean conservation isn't a platform for ego—it's a network of people, ideas, and actions.

🌍 Together for clean oceans: These initiatives inspire us

  • GOT BAG
Backpacks made from recycled Ocean Impact Plastic – with our own collection network in Southeast Asia. A significant contribution to a more circular economy and less marine litter.
  • Patagonia
A pioneer in responsibility and transparency for decades, Patagonia demonstrates how deeply environmental protection can be integrated into a brand.
  • 1% for the Planet
A global movement in which companies donate 1% of their revenue to environmental projects. A simple, powerful model with a big impact.
  • 4Ocean
Each bracelet funds the removal of plastic from the ocean – over 30 million pounds of trash have now been collected.
  • Sungai Watch
An Indonesian organization that uses barriers to filter garbage from rivers before it reaches the sea. Locally based, with great impact.
  • salt water
A brand that combines a connection to nature, sustainability, and minimalist design. Each collection supports a marine conservation project.
  • Bracenet
Bracelets made from old fishing nets – a symbol against ghost nets and for change.
  • Plastic Fischer
Fishing plastic directly from rivers – simple, local, and scalable. With a focus on local impact and fair working conditions.

🐢 Our attitude at Oceanmata

We ourselves are part of this movement. With Oceanmata, we've set ourselves the goal of removing 1 kg of plastic from coastal regions with every product sold – together with our local team in Bali.

Our vision: a world in which consumption does not automatically mean harm, but can be part of the solution.

💬 Let’s make a difference together – kilo by kilo

Every decision counts. Every contribution makes a difference.
Let us learn from each other, inspire each other – and continue on the path together.

Because ocean protection knows no competition.
Only allies.
